As most older collectors of FDC's are aware, King George V stamps used first day of issue are rare and some have not even been seen. In the Australian Commonwealth Specialist Catalogue, there is a stamp which off cover is worth but a few cents but on cover is rare. This stamp is the 1d green KGV stamp C of A watermark. In the ACSC it is listed with the earliest date seen as being 8/10/31 therefore probably not a FDC. In the Franklin's Guide of 1969 being the last of this publication, it lists the first day as 2/10/31. We have one such cover which now confirms Franklin's date as being accurate.
Is there another collector out there with a FDC for this stamp? I would love to hear from somebody who may have another
